Orchard Blacksmith was set up in mid-2017.

Orchard Blacksmith prides itself on producing the highest quality hard-forge ironwork of all shapes and sizes, bespoke to each individual clients specification. The founder of Orchard Blacksmith is Andy Orchard, a skilled smith in a range of interior and exterior ironwork; from benches and gates to companion sets, hand-rails, restoration and more.

Andy prides himself in hard work and keeping close relationships with his clients to make sure that they are not only happy with the finished product but also the level of service from the start of the process to the very end. Andy studied blacksmithing and creative ironwork at Plumpton College in Lewes, East Sussex and throughout his three years at college, he refined his art by working with other established blacksmiths on a number of different projects such as gates, balconies, rails and fire guards.

Andy graduated Plumpton College in June 2017 with a distinction grade at level 3 and was awarded “Greatest Contribution” by helping get involved with designs and practical work. He has also won awards at the young craftsmen in the South of England, New Forest show and Edenbridge and Oxstead show. Coming away with a large amount of knowledge from watching and talking to fellow smiths. You can head over to the gallery to see his portfolio.
