Orchard Blacksmith prides itself on producing the highest quality hand-forged ironwork of all shapes and sizes. Bespoke to each individual clients specification.
Orchard Blacksmith was set up in mid-2017. The founder of Orchard Blacksmith is Andy Orchard with his brother Mikey Orchard joining him shortly after. These skilled smiths produce an array of interior and exterior ironwork; from gates and hand-rails through to companion sets, furniture, restoration and much more.
Andy and Mikey pride themselves in the hard work and keeping of close relationships with their clients to ensure that they are not only happy with the finished product, but also the level of service from the start to the finished product.
Andy studied blacksmithing and creative ironwork at Plumpton College in Lewes, East Sussex and throughout his three years at college, he found a passion of contemporary ironwork from the design through to the production of bespoke pieces. This passion has grown and evolved throughout his time with other established blacksmiths on a number of different projects such as gates, balconies, rails and fire guards.
Mikey has also studied blacksmithing and creative ironwork at Plumpton College which built his skills and abilities in blacksmithing. Throughout the three years he attended, he found a passion for traditional ironwork by learning traditional techniques that have been used for centuries. These skills and passions have been enhanced and refined with the help of skilled blacksmiths he has worked for. Combining traditional and organic designs with contemporary methods, Mikey is able to produce an array of products which are truly unique and stunning.
